What We Do

Define Vague is a jewellery brand that designs and forges handmade items in silver, gold and brass. The brand was founded by Emma Brasser, whom decided to travel to India a few years ago to learn more about the ancient skill of silversmithing. This journey arised from a deep yearning of creating things barehanded, feeling the materials, bending and forging metals and admiring and working with beautiful crystals that each tell a different, magical story.

For about 7 months she spent numerous of hours working with primitive tools in a crosslegged position on the floor of tiny silvershops throughout India and Nepal.
Her designs reflect those days up in the mountains. Minimalistic, yet powerful designs that are the result of detailed handwork, often so small that they require an almost meditative-state of patience to create.
